Ashoka Virtual Young Changemakers Program

Ashoka Virtual Young Changemakers Program is a transformative journey that enables young changemakers from the Arab World with the tools, skills and knowledge to design and implement their own community initiatives. In partnership with Ashoka Arab World, IbtikarKhana offered a comprehensive training program to 60 young changemakers from 6 countries in the Arab World to enable them to design and implement their own initiatives.



The Delta Network Workshop Series

The Delta Network Workshop Series is a program designed and tailored for pre-early cultural and social entrepreneurs in Delta and Canal Governorates.
In partnership with Robert Bosch Cultural Managers of the Nile Delta, IbtikarKhana introduced a Transformative Capacity Building Program with aim of providing 14 pre-early cultural and social entrepreneurs in Delta and Canal Governorates provided with the basic skills and knowledge to design and implement their social ventures.
By the end of the program, 9 pre-early cultural and social entrepreneurs developed their business plans and models. 4 of them were granted training scholarships to join IbtikarKhana's Transformative Journey Program. Two entrepreneurs registered as non-profit foundations, one as a limited liability company and one is in the process of registering as an individual company.

Social Leaders Program by Entreprenelle

IbtikarKhana hosted a monitoring and evaluation workshop to pre-early female social entrepreneurship in partnership with Entreprenelle and CSR Al Ahly Bank as part of the Social Leaders Program. By the end of the workshop, 18 pre-early cycle social entrepreneurs were provided with the basic skills and tools about monitoring and evaluation.



Gender equality training for the beneficiaries of the Canadian-funded Aswan Skills Development Programme

Ibtikarkhana conducted a gender equality training for 25 young people of the beneficiaries of the Canadian-funded Aswan Skills Development Programme which is implemented by Om Habibeh Foundation. The training tackled a number of topics such as gender-based discrimination, unconscious bias, gender-based violence and gender-related policies and laws in Egypt. The training focused on introducing the participants to the needed practical tools to mainstream gender in their lives and work environment.





Writing Winning Proposals Workshop – Alumni Program by Goethe Institute

Within the Framework of Goethe Alumni Program, IbtikarKhana hosted a 3-day workshop on Writing Proposals and Fundraising. 41 pre-early and social entrepreneurs from all over Egypt attended the workshop and were introduced to the basic elements of proposal writing and fundraising.





Amreyah Cement Innovation Factory Program

The aim of the Innovation Factory Program is to enable 25 young girls and boys between 14 to 18 years old to identify problems in their surroundings, come up with creative solutions, and implement those solutions to make the world a better place.
In collaboration with Amreyah Cement and Ashoka Arab World, IbtikarKhana hosted a training program for 25 girls and boys (employees' children) to equip them with the basic knowledge, skills and know-how of designing community initiatives. By the end of the program, 3 collaborative community initiatives were developed and ready to be implemented.

Tahrir Lounge Goethe (TLG) Alumni Program Initiate and Participate

IbtikarKhana partnered with Tahrir Lounge-Goethe and Ashoka Arab World to implement Tahrir Lounge Goethe (TLG) Alumni Program Initiate and Participate.
The program aims to set an interactive platform for 18 TLG graduates to work in synergy on community projects that target different sectors of the society, allow them to discuss project ideas so they can collaborate on developing community project ideas.
By the end of the program, 18 TLG graduates from 5 governorates were provided with the basic skills and knowledge to design and implement their social ventures and 5 collaborative initiatives discussed and developed.

The Social Entrepreneurship Transformative Program for Heliopolis University Students

IbtikarKhana partnered with Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development and Ashoka Arab World to implement the Social Entrepreneurship Transformative Program for Heliopolis University Students.

The program aims to promote the concept of social entrepreneurship among Heliopolis University students in order to trigger a movement where everyone becomes a changemaker. Throughout the program, IbtikarKhana managed to equip 28 students from Cairo and Al Sharqiyah governorates with the basic skills and knowledge to design and implement their social initiatives and 4 collaborative social initiatives developed and ready to be implemented.

In partnership with the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at AUC, IbtikarKhana hosted a vocational training for AUC students on social entrepreneurship. IbtikarKhana's graduates presented their projects, goals, legal registration process, monitoring and evaluation systems and budgets to the students. These topics were aligned with what they have studied theoretically and therefore they were introduced to social entrepreneurship practically.



Vocational Training for AUC Students

In partnership with the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at AUC, IbtikarKhana hosted a vocational training for AUC students on social entrepreneurship. IbtikarKhana's graduates presented their projects, goals, legal registration process, monitoring and evaluation systems and budgets to the students.
